On January 25, the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) and its designers announced they are joining in the effort to help Haiti through the means of fashion. Benefitting the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, the $25 “Fashion for Haiti” T-shirts will go on sale February 12th to raise money for immediate and ongoing relief efforts.
Become a proud sponsor by purchasing “Help for Haiti” tees designed by Peter Arnell, the creator of the famed 2001 “Fashion for America” fundraiser shirt, which raised $2 million for the Twin Towers Fund. Whether for yourself, a loved one, or even as a thoughtful gift with Valentine’s Day roses, it may sound cliché, but every dollar helps.
Featuring black and green slogan “Hope Help Heal Haiti,” and the country’s image in the “To Haiti with Love” tagline, these tee’s will undoubtedly become a must-have item for Winter/Spring 2010. Last fall’s CFDA’s “Fashions Night Out” tees were nearly impossible to find in stores, and only available through purchases online. “Fashion for Haiti” tees will be in demand by not only the fashionistas, but people with a big heart, no matter how small their wallet.
Manufactured by Theory, with the CFDA logo printed on the inside, “Fashion for Haiti” tees in men’s and women’s styles can be found at retailers nationwide, as well as online at www.cfda.com.
I don’t know about you, but I’m a fashionista with a big heat, and small wallet. You will definitely see me rockin’ this tee during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week!
