Dog owners will be able to arrange for their pooch to meet and be painted by Robert. commissions can be
take place at venue of the dog owners' choice throughout the tour OR at our exclusive private venue on
Saturday 3rd December. Prices start at $1,500.

The commission-only dog painting tour will be visiting selected venues and private homes across New
York. The exhibition celebrates and recognizes how important New Yorkers' dogs, and dogs in general,
have become to the urban fabric of the world's most iconic city.

Robert graduated from the prestigious St. Martins School of Art in London. His artwork has featured in
numerous solo and group exhibitions. Robert has been involved in a variety of exciting commissions
including: 'British Birds and Dogs' an exhibition at the Paul Smith flagship store in Sloane Square; a
selection of bird paintings showcased at the Zetter Space and most recently a commission to illustrate and
write Loewe'sspecial book entitled 'The Masters of Leather'. His latest London solo show 'A-Z of Dogs' at
the Rebecca Hossack Gallery was a fantastic success and the A-Z prints will be available at Liberty
London in 2012. Robert is an internationally recognized artist whose work is highly popular in both the art
and fashion worlds.

Robert has been painting dogs for over 10 years. After being attacked by a dog, as a young boy, he spent
most of his early life scared of them. It wasn't until his girlfriend convinced him that they should get a Jack
Russell that he found himself being drawn to paint and hence celebrate dogs visually. Robert's painting
style allows the true character of his sitters to be revealed. His work has proved to be very popular.
Recent commissions include the furry companions of jewellery designer and Vogue contributor Katie
Hillier and LOVE editor and fashionista Katie Grand.

In December 2011 Robert will be exhibiting at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery in New York. 'Robert Clarke
the Dog Painter - The New York Tour' is a week -long tour that will follow-on from this solo show. Dog
Owners will be able to book a time slot to organize a commission at a selected venue or home. During this
time, their dogs will be met and photographed by Robert. Finished paintings will be available for collection
the next day. Robert will be doing a limited amount of commissions and all paintings will be signed and
include a special ‘Robert Clarke The Dog Painter - The New York Tour’ authentication label.

The New York Tour has been organized by fashion curator Tory Turk.  It follows on from the success of
'Robert Clarke - Pawdicure and Portraiture' that took place during Miami Basel 2010. The Tour will be
visiting Palm Springs in 2012.
