Photographer Dennis Galante, born in Brooklyn, New York to Italian royalty—but raised by Sicilian gypsies—has articulated through his photographic stills and portraits an innate and distinctive creativity that has shaped an extensive international career in advertising, editorial and fine arts photography. Galante has produced campaigns for AT&T, Citibank, Chase, Lucent, Verizon, UPS, and USPS, to name a few. He has created covers and editorials for Time Magazine, Newsweek, Forbes, ESPN, Men’s Health Magazine, Modern Bride, Teen People Magazine and the New York Times, among others. Galante’s Vision and Commerce creativity venue featured Kathleen Ryan, New York Times Magazine director of photography and Robert Mansfield, Forbes Magazine art director, Vision and Commerce has also been a featured class at The International Center of Photography in Manhattan.
Galante’s singular style, influenced by his formative years in Brooklyn, New York and San Francisco, California, continues to be fueled by his passion to create compelling images.
As a fine art advertising photographer I create compelling provocative images that challenge the mind and motivate the senses. My images celebrate the essence of woman. Corruption and invasion are never apart of my vision. I have always focused on the power and beauty of the female form.
