His family moved to the United States when he was a year old and
they lived in a suburb, west of Chicago.

His maternal grandmother primarily raised him.  
He grew up adjacent to a set of parents, a
paternal grandmother, 5 maternal aunts, and a
sister---in a three bedroom home, all under one
roof.  Sometimes an uncle or two would stay for
awhile.

his own cartoons.  
Characters of his own creation would
sometimes have adventures with Captain
Caveman, Merle Stubbing (Captain of the Love
Boat) and Ms. Garrett (Facts of Life).

Edward has no formal art training but has been drawing or "doodling" most
of his life.  Edward has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois.  He
is deaf in his left ear.  After 14 years working in the pharmaceutical
industry, he is taking a break to pursue his art making.
