I Found a Lump...... ....
In my cereal
What happened to the old days when the only lump you had to worry about finding, was in your hot oatmeal, and NOT in
your body!?
When summers were longer and girls were shorter?
In this "new age" of global warming, growth hormones and GA Summits we are more challenged then ever as a people.
Were summers longer, or did they just feel that way because we were younger? I believe it is a combination of both.
Everything felt longer when you were younger and that feeling, both excited and nervous of your next "first day" of school..
the one you went shopping for school supplies with mom for. Your new black and white cosmopolitan lined notebook..
oops I mean composition notebook! Guess that was my age kicking in!
Back to the topic of long summers, now and forever changed by greenhouse gassing and over polluting. Longer summers
and a longer life are not always connected with a happier life. Quality still beats quantity. This is not to imply that you
should cut your life short..That would not be the answer.
One answer is to add to your earth by helping it. Contribute more time to educating others about solar energy, green living
and the connection between a positive attitude and a healthy life for yourself and those around you.
Now, about shorter women. With years of growth and other hormones added to animal feed and to vegetation, women
have appeared to grow taller and develop faster than average. That is fine, but what is not fine is when you have that main
height and female spurt, occur at ages 8-10 vs. at 16-18+. You see women developing earlier and beginning their menstrual
cycles at a much earlier age. This is not always healthy. More work for the human body when it was accustomed to
developing at a more "normal" rate, in earlier days.
And about that lump...in your cereal....
While we cannot go back to earlier days or spend endless hours ruing over those days. Those days when the cereal lump
was the only kind of lump you had to worry about.
However, you CAN pass these memories on to your children and/or your friend's children.
You can ALWAYS take better care of yourself than you do and create as healthy an environment as you can. With the
right mental attitude and a few life changes you can and will create NEW, healthy and fun "memory moments."
Remember this famous saying: Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That’s
why we call it the present.
Happy mother's day, to mom, grandma, aunt, friends and to mother earth!
