Bringing Donkey Kong Back

September 27, 2007--Torreltorrel, a father and son owned
apparel company recently announced a licensing agreement in
which Nintendo will grant use of the Super Mario, Donkey Kong
and Super Nintendo Entertainment System logos to the new
clothing line.  The series of products will be geared towards
male consumers, who make up 80% of all licensed good sales.

Torrel Harris Jr., a 24 year old University of Maryland graduate,
crafted the vision for the line after working as Vice President
with his father Torrel Harris, Sr. The elder was the first
African-American to be licenced by the NBA and NFL Properties
Division and served as an apparel maker for both leagues from
1994-2005.

Harris, Jr. said, "All through college I worked with my dad
designing clothes, just helping out. Since I play alot of video
games I got the idea to call Nintendo for a clothing line.

Nintendo brand holds a lot of nostalgia for anyone who grew up
in the 80's." My video game expertise coupled with my Dad's
experience in licensed products made us a perfect match" to
pursue the deal.
