Bonnie Gardner (1928-2004) was a talented
mixed-media Long Island artist who specialized
in watercolor portraits. She did a whole celebrity
portrait series, including among others: Eleanor
Roosevelt, Jack Nicolson, Georgia O’Keefe, and
Barbra Streisand.
Bonnie also worked in oils, pastels, pen and ink, and sculpture. In addition to the portraits,
her collection includes animals, nudes, lighthouses and other historic landmarks, abstracts,
and still life, with a major focus on flowers
We hope to compile a book of her best work in the not too distant future. If you appreciate
this style of artwork and might be interested, please contact her daughter, Kari Tieger.
