Damien Olsen (born May 20. 1961 as Damian Berdichevsky) started his artistic career as a professional in 1980. After abandoned a potentially
promising job in a very important advertising agency and after 3 years of college as student of Psychology.
Since 1999 Damien Olsen currently lives and works in Brooklyn.

He is an ex contemporary dancer, Experimental Musician, Improvisor, Sound Designer, Performer, Photographer, Digital Artist, Sculptor. Video Artist.
Lived in Brazil during the 80s and 90s. Trained in Zen, Kung–Fu, Capueira and Graham technique of contemporary dance. With a blend of all this
mentioned disciplines he created his own style, and worked on the Dance field for over ten years; mostly as a solo performer.

Damien Olsen was disciple of the Finnish/American Composer and guitar player Raoul Bjorkenheim.
Since moved to NYC in 1999 Damien Olsen self produced two or three conceptual albums of Hybrid Ambient Music a year and a vast production
of sculptures on wood and cardboard, artist books, oil paintings and digital art and video.
Some of his music albums were already commercially released.
His music compositions are so complex as his visual art. The crafting of his music is strongly influenced by the legendary British Label em:t
aesthetically corrupts and destroy the material world.”
